This year, Asda Patchway has been transformed into a Super Centre as part of a £8.2m refurbishment. Following the investment, the store has received brand new and exciting features never before seen in any branch of Asda across the UK. One of the new features is the new Green St Cafe.

The Green St Cafe is unlike any other; it has a modern fresh design and a premium menu using the freshest ingredients. It serves breakfast and lunch, you can eat in or order to take away and there’s even table service available.
I visited the Cafe last week with my partner, we’ve done our grocery shopping for the week then decided to have lunch at Green St Cafe. It’s a great calm spot to grab something to eat and relax after spending a couple of hours doing the weekly shopping.

The menu at Green St Cafe is rich. They serve everything from tea and cake, to fish & chips, burgers and even soups! You can either order from the menu, or get something from their ready-made sandwiches and toasties displayed.

The Green St Cafe also offers a range of freshly baked cakes, scones and bars with gluten-free options available.

We were very impressed by the decor, the cafe is spacious and bright with wide windows that provide plenty of daylight. From the cafe, you can see the bus stop, which is very convenient on cold days when you need to wait for the bus but it’s too cold outside. So you can just get yourself a hot drink, and take a seat by the window until the bus arrives.

First, we ordered our food…
We were quite hungry so I went for the bean burger, and my partner went for a beef burger (all burgers come with chips). We also ordered a side salad, garlic bread, extra portion of chips and smoothies. The staff was very friendly and helped us choose food and drinks from the menu, and then brought the food to our table.
There are plenty of vegetarian options available on the menu.

And then the food arrived!
My bean burger was absolutely delicious, the bean patty was crispy and a bit spicy and the chips were perfectly fried to golden. My partner said that his burger was really good, and he really enjoyed it.

The cafe is family friendly. There were a few families at the restaurant at the time when we visited, and there’s a children-sitting area with fun tables and chairs, baby high chairs, and microwaves to reheat baby food.

All in all, I recommend that you pop by Green St Cafe in Asda Patchway Bristol after doing your shopping. It’s the perfect breakfast or lunch spot to visit on your own or with your family.
Asda Patchway is located between The Mall and the M5 near Cribbs Causeway. Open 24 hours on weekdays, 12am-10pm on Saturdays and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
